Jonathan Belolo, LCSW, CRRA

Jonathan Belolo was born in Belgium and was raised and educated in Boca Raton, FL where he spent most of his time helping others and giving back to the community. Growing up in South Florida, Jonathan saw a growing need to help individuals who are suffering from addiction and removing the stigma. Jonathan moved to New York where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Yeshiva University and his Master from Wurzweiler School of Social Work. While in New York he worked for Beth Israel Medical Center, where he first was exposed to substance abuse treatment. Since then he has dedicated his studies and time towards assisting individual struggling with addiction.
Jonathan moved back to Florida, to his community in Boca Raton and began providing therapy for individuals both within the community and from out-of-state. Jonathan takes pride in knowing he does not promise a “cure-all” approach to treatment, rather a place that allows individuals to address the issues and conflicts that they are struggling with in a safe space. Jonathan individualizes each client’s care with a wide variety of modalities to ensure that the client is receiving the most effective care possible.
Jonathan ensures that Sunshine Recovery Center is a safe place where clients can receive care and support of our staff and administrative team. It is the founding principles that the clients shall and will always come first. As one of the leading members of the Ethics and Standards Committee in the Palm Beach County Substance Awareness Coalition, Jonathan aims to hold the highest standards and most comprehensive and ethical treatment.
Jonathan founded Sunshine Recovery Center with the moral and ethical teachings he has gained from his Jewish roots. Jonathan constantly incorporates Jewish theology and ideology to help individuals through the process of recovery.
