Alan was born in France and was raised and educated in Israel where he was an advanced student in the Yeshiva of Jerusalem. After completing his rabbinical degree, he sought to teaching as a volunteer and spread the education he felt fortunate of having. In 1995 he decided to move to Boca Raton, FL where he became a founding member in the budding Jewish community. Given his experienced background, Alan is fluent in six languages: English, French, Hebrew, Yiddish, Arabic and Dutch. This has allowed him to reach a wider network and become familiar with individuals with different cultures and backgrounds. Alan’s philosophy in life is that everyone everywhere can teach you something new about life. Throughout his life, he has found great joy in knowing that a small gesture can make a big difference and he tries to live every day with this mantra in mind. Alan proudly came out of retirement in support of helping individuals who are struggling with addiction. Alan’s passion to help is deeply rooted in his core beliefs and religious foundations.
